  This booklet tells the story of the Pride of Baltimore I, a roving ambassador and a floating museum for the city of Baltimore, Maryland from 1977 to 1986. The Pride was a replica of an 1812 topsail schooner sometimes called Baltimore Clippers.

  The booklet contains 48 pages of text, photographs, and illustrations depicting the story of the historic Baltimore clippers, the building of the Pride I, and its launching in 1977. It features over 75 color photographs, black & white photos, illustrations, and drawings. The front cover depicts the Pride I sailing out to sea. An illustration of the Pride riding the waves is shown on the parchment cover page. The back cover has a beautiful picture of the vessel sailing into the sunset.
